First Day of School (ECS)

Our kids are attending the Christian school where Phil's dad and brother-in-law teach. It is also where their cousins go. The kids have really enjoyed the first two weeks of school. It is also required now that the kids have their temperatures taken before entering school (every day). Anna is also required to wear a mask during transition times.

Two cousins that spent the first couple of days at Mommom's and Poppop's because their parents were taking their big brother to college.

More Friends from Overseas

We were able to see some friends from our former country that moved to north Philadelphia. We had a quick couple hour visit with them. Anna really enjoyed played basketball with the big kids. The kids also had a good time playing corn hole.

Maryland Trip

We recently went to visit Phil's aunts, uncles, and cousins in Maryland. The purpose of our trip was to visit the church where Phil grew up. They have supported us for the past two years and we wanted to give an update and say thank you. We were also able to stay with Phil's cousin's family. They were so gracious and had such a great space for us in their finished basement. Our kids got along so well and we all had a great week with them. It was very relaxing and very needed. Phil's parents also gifted us for our birthdays with tickets to Sight and Sound to see Queen Esther. It was a beautiful performance and the kids loved it!

Some of Phil's family went up as well and they were on the same flight as us.

This is the only picture we got with of Phil and his cousin.

Phil's parents gifted us with tickets to Sight and Sound for our birthdays. Phil's mom bought all of the kids fancy clothes and they dressed up to go see Queen Esther.

This is the costume John wanted. Not quite the right time period as Queen Esther, but he loved it.

John got to go fishing with Phil, his cousin, and his cousin's son.

John caught a fish!

We went to a farmer's market in Delaware that reminded us of a large market in the country where we just lived.

We were able to find our country's flag in this tiny flag shop in Delaware.

We were also able to visit with some old friends.

We had the opportunity to speak at the church where Phil grew up.

Some dear friends that had us over for yummy Indian food.

A guys day out
