We were able to go to the old house for Memorial Day weekend with Rachel's sister, Kami, and her family. Phil and John had to go back home Monday evening because they still had school until June 10th. Rachel and the girls were able to stay at the old house until Tuesday and then head to Asheville for a few days with the McKannas.
My youngest two siblings graduated from high school this year. Abigail is the youngest at 17 and Jedidiah is 18. I was not able to attend the ceremony in Ohio, but got some pictures from my younger sister Leah who was able to attend.
Our niece, Izzy (Vanessa's daughter), and our nephew, Lucas (Libby's son), graduated from together from the same school. We were all able to attend the graduation ceremony. They are both great kids and we are so proud of them! Izzy will attend Columbia International University and major in education and Lucas will attend Liberty University and major in drama.
Our sweet oldest turned 14! She is such a kind and gentle soul who loves animals, loves to read, and loves movie quotes and music! We call her our house DJ. She is always listening to music no matter where she is. This past year Anna made a decision to follow Jesus and it's the best thing she's ever done! We are thrilled to see the way the Lord is working in her heart and how he's changing her.
To celebrate Phil finishing his masters, I surprised him with a plane ticket to go see his cousin in Maryland and spend the weekend with him. They had a great time and it was good for Phil to be able to have some time away after all of the hard work he's accomplished this past year and a half of working full time and getting his masters!
Kate finished 6th grade through Liberty University Online Academy! Woohoo! She is a great student who does very well and loves to learn!
We got to go up to the old house with Vanessa (Phil's sister) and some of her kids. It was relaxing and fun to be able to spend some time together away from work and regular life.
