Our New Kittens!

 John's teacher was getting rid of kittens, so, we took two sisters. They are the sweetest kittens and so easy to care for! Everyone is in love (although, my allergies, not so much). :) Ginger and Nutmeg! 

John's First Day of 3rd Grade

 John started school this year in the middle of July. He is now attending the charter school where Phil works and they are a year round school. John is in the 3rd grade and his teacher is Mrs. Wheeler. 

Kate made him this sign. That's why her name is at the top. 

Tom & Grace

 Our very dear friends from Ohio came to North Carolina to see us. Phil picked up Kate after she got back from camp and drove up to meet us. We had the best weekend with them! We went to Grandfather Mountain, visited some local shops, and had a good time playing games and hanging out. 

Kate Goes to Camp

 In the middle of July, Kate got her turn to go to camp. She was born for summer camp! A week of fun with friends is just what this girl needed! 

NC Fun

 While Kate was at camp, Anna, John, and I spent time in North Carolina. 

July 4th

 We spent the day going to church, going to an activity at another church in town where some of Phil's family works, and then ended the day doing sparklers with friends. Kate took part in a watermelon eating contest and got 2nd place!
