Our country made the decision to cancel school this past week (3rd-9th) due to the corona virus. To follow the decision of the government and to not draw attention to our school, our school also cancelled, so John did school at home. The teachers all got work together for the kids to do so they would not get behind. It was not a big change for us since the girls already do school at home. It did take John a day to settle in, but after the first day, he did super and did his work with no complaints.
Kate started last Saturday with a fever. She proceeded to get worse with a fever that kept increasing every day, plus, a cough, runny nose, and sneezing. She does not have the corona virus, just a bad virus. Thursday her fever broke, but she has still felt bad for the past two days. John started two days ago with a fever, cough, runny nose, and sneezing. Thankfully, his fever hasn't been as bad as Kate's yet.
As of yesterday, our country decided to close schools for the rest of March. Our school will do the same. We are not panicking, but trying to be wise about how we should respond to the situation around us.
