Weekend in Greenville

 We went to Greenville to visit some friends from when we lived in Delaware. Another couple that lived near us was going to be visiting these friends as well. It was such a wonderful reunion and had been almost 13 years since we've all been together. 

Thanksgiving

 This was our first big holiday since we've been back. A friend from our time overseas came from Texas to visit. We carved pumpkins, decorated for Christmas, and had Thanksgiving dinner with Phil's family. We didn't have a chance to carve pumpkins during Halloween, so we did it the weekend Catherine was here. We also put up our decorations since we were going away the day after Thanksgiving. It was a fun time with family and friends. 

Cutting Down Trees

 We had some really big, nasty pine trees in the yard of our new house that needed to be cut down. We didn't want the trees falling down on our house. They also left a terrible mess in the yard with all of the pine needles. We had one cut in the front and one in the back yard. We LOVE them being gone! We have two more on our property that we might consider having cut down now that the other two are gone. We have several more trees on our property, so our yard will still be beautiful and much less messy without them. 

Volleyball Awards

I was able to coach JV Girls Volleyball at the kids' school. We had an awards ceremony to celebrate how the girls did. I was so proud of how hard the girls worked this season and was so glad to be able to coach Anna again. We were undefeated in our conference, although, we did have a few losses to non-conference teams. 

We were missing a few girls. I had 16 girls on my team (6th-10th).

Cousins:Anna and Izzy played volleyball and Lucas ran track.
