We spent the first day taking it easy, but not so easy as to fall asleep! The first few days are always so rough as far as sleeping goes! We went to show the kids around the school where they will be attending and where we will be teaching. We then picked some fresh figs on the way home and each tried the fun, new treat. Some were more fond of the figs than others, but each one was super brave to try something new. We also showed the kids the small grocery store near where we are staying and bought some caffeine to help us all stay awake until 8:00!
