Goodbye Nashville-Monday

Monday was our last full day in Nashville. We purposely packed our week prior to leaving with seeing Nashville sights and saying goodbyes to friends, but left Monday free for last minute errands and packing. Phil went and did a few errands while I packed and repacked our carry-ons trying to squeeze in some last minute things.  Some things were also taken out and had to be left behind. I was so glad to finally be done with packing when the day was done. Between getting our house ready to sell and packing, the last two months were hard! It was finally go time. We ate dinner with our gracious hosts, the Hussungs, and I made one more late night Sonic milkshake run with some good friends! The Hussungs are our dear friends from our fellowship that lived a few streets over from us. They so graciously invited us into their home for the week leading up to our departure. Our kids and their kids are all about the same age and are good friends. It was so good to spend that last week with them, but made it so hard when we had to leave. Thank you, Hussungs, for your gracious hospitality and the peaceful week we spent at your house saying goodbye.
